Epic’s policy requires its 13,000 employees to work in the office almost every day, with employees being granted 10 half-days a year to work remotely.
Nate Bubb, technical services division lead at Epic, told the publication that in-person work was the only “viable” way the company could move forward. Mr. Bubb said for Epic, the in-person work is here to stay.
“Being able to walk down the hall and hop into a room, do complex things together, that’s the majority of the time,” Mr. Bubb said. “That will be the way we continue to serve our community.”
