This year marks the fourth consecutive time M*Modal has received this designation, which is based on client satisfaction. For the report, Black Book surveyed 230 hospitals and 2,303 physician practices about their use of transcription software.

M*Modal was also ranked the No. 1 transcription technology software vendor for hospitals and inpatient facilities.

“Medical transcription has become a critical part of the clinical documentation process as vendors are tested with the challenges of supporting clients as they go through healthcare reform and move toward value-based reimbursement,” said Doug Brown, managing partner of Black Book.
