Med-PaLM 2 will take data from X-rays and mammograms to see if it can help communicate with clinicians about data routinely used in patient care, according to a May 10 YouTube video from Google.
The news comes shortly after the company touted the AI model as an “expert” at answering medical exam questions. Med-PaLM 2 was found to have 85 percent accuracy when it comes to answering medical licensing exam questions.
The generative AI model is not yet publicly available.
