Nworah Ayogu, MD, chief medical officer and general manager of Amazon Clinic, told CNBC that Amazon Clinic vets each of the providers it works with as well as their internal operations to determine if “they have stood up as a provider group.”
Amazon Clinic also ensures that the providers are staffed across all 50 states so patients are able to get care “in a timely response,” according to Dr. Ayogu.

Amazon Clinic also did not provide CNBC with numbers on how many users have signed up to use the platform.
