GE HealthCare raises 2023 revenue forecast

GE HealthCare reported solid second-quarter results as the now independent medtech company saw 7 percent year-over-year revenue growth.

The company is updating its 2023 organic revenue growth to between 6 percent and 8 percent year-over-year; previously, it was between 5 percent and 7 percent year-over-year.

GE HealthCare reported a net second-quarter income of $418 million, compared to $485 million for the previous year, according to a July 25 GE HealthCare news release.

The company spun off from GE to form an independent entity at the start of this year.

"We've made good progress with our operating priorities in the first half of the year," GE HealthCare CEO and President Peter Arduini said in the release. "As a result, we're raising our top- and bottom-line guidance for the full year as we execute our precision care strategy."
