Fathom, an autonomous medical coding company, has received a strategic investment from CVS Health Ventures, the venture capital arm of CVS Health.
Fathom’s platform is designed to allow health systems to implement autonomous coding across multiple specialties simultaneously, rather than through department-by-department rollouts, according to a May 4 news release.
The company is also backed by Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.
