The company is rolling back its public health, remote patient monitoring, hardware and chronic care programs to focus on primary and urgent care, Mr. Bali said in the Jan. 6 post.

“We’re still optimistic about the future. The current market conditions force us to be more diligent, focused and patient,” he wrote. “We’re sad to see our colleagues go, but I couldn’t be more proud of what we achieved together.”

Carbon Health let go of 250 staffers in June after undergoing a major expansion during the pandemic. The company has more than 100 clinics across the country.

The firm told Becker’s in December that it planned to enter the EHR business by licensing its technology.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
