People often talk to Siri about serious issues, prompting Apple to seek applicants who can “transform data to intelligent sources that will take Siri to next level.” The ideal applicant will have experience in artificial intelligence technologies like natural language processing or machine learning, reads the job description.
“People talk to Siri about all kinds of things, including when they’re having a stressful day or have something serious on their mind. They turn to Siri in emergencies or when they want guidance on living a healthier life,” the description reads, noting the position also requires “peer counseling or [a] psychology background, with excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.”
The position is one of a dozen others Apple posted in recent months that relate to its health projects.
