Thread Research, a company focused on supporting decentralized clinical trials, will work with Amazon to develop advanced machine learning architecture and artificial intelligence models to automate processes, according to a March 29 press release.
The cloud-enabled platform will help drive faster and more efficient research by automating data management, which is currently performed manually.
“The breadth and depth of AWS’s machine learning and cloud capabilities will help support Thread teams as they work to automate processes, reduce inefficiencies and monitor and support clinical trials,” Dan Sheeran, general manager, healthcare and life sciences at Amazon Web Services said.
