Amazon Pharmacy rolls out drone delivery

Amazon Pharmacy customers in College Station, Texas can now get their medications delivered via drones operated by Prime Air.

Once a customer places an order via Amazon Pharmacy, a pharmacist will ensure the order is loaded and delivered by drone within 60 minutes of being ordered. 

The free service currently covers 500 medications, including those for flu, asthma and pneumonia, according to an Oct. 18 news release from Amazon.
