Amazon’s primary care provider One Medical has launched new appointments nationwide for patients experiencing symptoms related to perimenopause and menopause.
The visits connect patients with primary care providers trained to identify and treat a wide range of symptoms associated with menopause, such as hot flashes, sleep disruption and changes in bone density, according to a Sept. 25 news release.
The new visits are available in all regions where One Medical has offices. Patients can schedule appointments in person or remotely through the One Medical app. The company said most major insurance plans are accepted, and nonmembers can also book visits.
One Medical began testing the appointment type in 2024 with a group of providers in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area.
