Moses Lake, Wash.-based Samaritan Healthcare will now be known, simply, as Samaritan.
The health system unveiled the rebranding ahead of its planned March 7 opening of a new $225 million hospital in Moses Lake.
“Our new logo represents far more than a design change — it’s a heartfelt tribute to the community that has supported us every step of the way,” Samaritan CEO Theresa Sullivan said in a Jan. 21 news release. “As part of Washington’s robust healthcare landscape, we’re honored to continue our legacy of community-based care as we launch this new identity and embrace the future of local healthcare together.”
The new campus replaces a 50-bed building constructed in 1955 and facilitates an additional 32 providers and 13 service lines. Samaritan, which also has two outpatient clinics, was founded in 1947 as Grant County (Wash.) Public Hospital District No. 1.
