UCHealth expands 15-year Olympic partnership

Aurora, Colo.-based UCHealth has expanded its 15-year partnership with the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee.

The health system will serve as a national medical center for athletes who live and train in Colorado Springs, Colo., where an Olympic & Paralympic Training Center is located near UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central.

“For more than 15 years, UCHealth has been more than just a neighbor — they’ve been a trusted partner, standing alongside us in supporting and championing Team USA athletes,” said Jonathan Finnoff, DO, chief medical officer for the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee, in a May 7 news release. “We’re thrilled to welcome UCHealth as the newest member of this established group of premier medical providers who care for the unique needs of Team USA athletes.”

The other three national medical centers within the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Medical Network are Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai, Gainesville, Fla.-based UF Health and Vail, Colo.-based Steadman Clinic.
