Arlington-based Texas Health Resources has signed a 10-year agreement for the naming rights to a new soccer stadium in Mansfield, Texas.

Texas Health Mansfield Stadium is expected to open in the summer and host the North Texas Soccer Club, an affiliate of MLS franchise FC Dallas.

“Texas Health’s mission is to improve the health of the people in the communities we serve, and that includes supporting a community asset like the new Texas Health Mansfield Stadium,” said Eulanie Lashley, president and CEO of Texas Health Hospital Mansfield, in a Jan. 30 news release. “This facility will not only host events — it will serve as the central wellness hub for the entire Mansfield community.”

Texas Health will be the stadium’s official health partner, with prominent branding throughout, collaborating on community health programming and healthy food options.
