Charleston, S.C.-based Roper St. Francis Healthcare has relaunched its website, RSFH.com, with AI-powered search, expanded MyChart integration and a redesigned site architecture aimed at simplifying patient access to care.

The AI-powered search tool interprets the intent behind a user’s query rather than matching keywords alone, helping patients, providers and visitors locate information faster. The rebuilt MyChart integration streamlines scheduling by connecting directly to the platform patients already use to manage appointments and records. The site also features enhanced location pages and maps with filtering tools to help users find the nearest facility.

Work on the redesign began in January 2025 and included building a new content management system, refreshing site content and strengthening search and analytics capabilities, according to the health system.

“We have rebuilt our digital front door to create a more modern, intuitive experience,” said Krista Robertson, executive director of marketing and digital strategy at Roper St. Francis Healthcare, in a Sept. 1 news release.

The project required coordination across marketing, digital, communications, clinical, operational and IT teams, along with outside vendor partners, the system said.

The redesign is part of Roper St. Francis Healthcare’s 2030 Strategic Plan, a broader initiative to modernize technology and expand access across its Lowcountry service area.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
