The program first started in 2014 as a way to make fresh produce available to communities. Residents interested in the program can register for a weekly or biweekly package of fresh produce.

St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor (Mich.), part of Trinity Health, dedicated a portion of its land in 2010 to use as a farm. The program will run from April to December.
