Kansas health system scores naming rights with soccer team

Kansas City-based University of Kansas Health System has entered into a partnership with a professional women’s soccer team, the Kansas City Current, and will get naming rights for its training center.

Effective at the start of training season in 2024, the training center will go by the name of the University of Kansas Health System Training Center, according to a Nov. 28 news release from the Kansas City Current. The health system will also serve as the official healthcare provider for the team.

The training complex is a new $18 million facility located in Riverside, Mo.
