Former Steward hospital gets new name, logo

A hospital formerly owned by now-defunct Steward Health Care has a new name and logo.

Sharon (Pa.) Regional Medical Center is now known as Sharon Regional Health System, WFMJ reported May 30. The organization held a ribbon-cutting May 29 to celebrate the changes.

The hospital closed in January following Steward’s bankruptcy before reopening in March under the ownership of hospital management company Tenor Health Foundation.
