Providence, R.I.-based Care New England has launched a shared brand identity with a new logo across its three hospitals and various outpatient facilities.
The $1.6 billion system’s locations — Butler Hospital and Women & Infants Hospital in Providence and Kent Hospital in Warwick, R.I. — will continue to operate independently with their own leadership and workforces but will share a single EHR, consolidate billing, and coordinate clinical and operational services.
“Each of our operating units has earned the trust of Rhode Islanders and the greater community,” Care New England President and CEO Michael Wagner, MD, said in a Jan. 12 news release. “This brand brings that trust together under one shared symbol, showing our shared commitment to our patients.”
Care New England said it will roll out the new brand across digital platforms, facilities and patient materials over time.
