Pennsylvania’s Mercy Suburban Hospital Breaks Ground on $8M Cancer Center

Mercy Suburban Hospital in East Norriton, Pa., recently broke ground on an $8 million cancer center, according to a Times Herald report.

The 12,500-square-foot center will include an image-guided linear accelerator, eight chemotherapy suites, a high-dose radiation suite, an appearance center, genetics counseling, multi-disciplinary clinics, additional exam/treatment rooms, a family cancer resource center, a high-tech conference center and a healing garden.

The center is expected to open in the summer 2012.
