Philips has expanded its digital pathology portfolio with the launch of a fully cloud-enabled version of its IntelliSite Pathology solution.

The system, built on Amazon Web Services, is designed to help laboratories scale digital workflows without relying on on-premise infrastructure, according to a March 11 news release. It allows pathologists to remotely access, review and collaborate on pathology images, with the capacity for enterprise integration and AI-enabled diagnostics.

The platform is the newest addition to the Philips HealthSuite Integrated Diagnostics portfolio, which includes cloud-based tools across radiology, cardiology and pathology.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
