The platform will use technology to identify patients with specific conditions, group them into cohorts, and provide care managers with reports or alerts. The goal is to ensure patients receive timely and appropriate care, according to Roger Lutz, CIO of Independence Health.

Instead of a financial investment, Independence Health is contributing expertise and insights from its clinical and operational staff. The health system plans to start using Avehealth in 2025 and aims to eventually market the platform as a standalone solution.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
