ForSight Robotics raises $55M

ForSight Robotics, a company creating robotics to perform corrective cataract surgeries, has raised $55 million, TechCrunch reported on July 18.

ForSight Robotic calls their primary surgery robotic platform Oryom. The company claims that Oryom is ten times more accurate than the human hand, according to TechCrunch.

This series A fundraising round came eighteen months after ForSight Robotics’ seed funding round. The company plans to use the new capital to develop and refine its robot surgeons.
