Digital health company Carrum Health is partnering with Winston-Salem, N.C.-based health system Novant Health to deliver bariatric and orthopedic care to Carrum members in North Carolina.
Novant Health is the first Carrum Health partner in North Carolina. Carrum Health connects employers and employees with centers of excellence to reduce healthcare expenses. It will add Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital and Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center, both in Charlotte, to its value-based care platform, according to the Aug. 9 press release.
"The clinical strength of Novant Health's programs is exceptional and will give our employers in the region access to top-quality care," Carrum Health CEO and founder Sach Jain said. "We are excited to expand our center of excellence offering into North Carolina with Novant Health, which shares our commitment to providing patients with access to the region's best doctors and the most appropriate treatments for their individual needs."
