The MyDario solution comprises a pocket-sized device for blood glucose measurement and an FDA-cleared app through which users can track key diabetes metrics and share real-time reports with care teams and family members.

The diabetes management platform is the latest addition to Walmart’s growing portfolio of healthcare offerings. In recent months, for example, the world’s largest brick-and-mortar retailer has opened its first standalone primary care clinic, unveiled a plan to build a skilled healthcare workforce and launched several health-related pilot programs for patients and employees.
