Tenet’s total adjusted EBITDA for first quarter 2009 was $276 million, compared to $215 million for first quarter 2008.
Tenet experienced a 2.6 percent increase in same-hospital total surgeries, a 2.3 percent increase in same-hospital paying outpatient visits, a 1.3 percent decrease in same-hospital total admissions and a 3.2 percent decrease in same-hospital commercial managed care admissions.
