Gov. Cuomo’s task force is targeting not-for-profit executives because they “should be using the taxpayer dollars they receive to help New Yorkers, not to line their own pockets,” according to the report.
SIUH is part of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. North Shore-LIJ spokesperson Terry Lynam said in the report that SIUH is complying with the task force’s requests for compensation records, and the system as a whole sets executive pay based on other parts of the country, periodic reviews and board of trustee approval.
