Six Cincinnati Healthcare Execs Earned More Than $1M in 2009

In the latest statistics available from 2009, six Cincinnati healthcare executives earned salaries exceeding $1 million a year, according to a Cincinnati Business Courier report.

According to the report, Kenneth Hanover, the CEO of Health Alliance, earned $1,802,489 in total compensation in 2009, making him the highest-paid of the six leaders. James Anderson, CEO of Cincinnati Children’s, came in second at $1,747,573, followed by Michael Connelly of Catholic Health Partners at $1,570,451 and Joseph Gross of St. Elizabeth Healthcare at $1,147,469.

The list was rounded out by John Prout, leader of Tri Health, who made $1,093,343 in 2009, and James May, CEO of Mercy Health Partners, who made $1,027,552.
