Shelly Hunter. CFO of Mercy Health of Joplin (Mo.)/Kansas. Ms. Hunter was named CFO of Mercy Health Joplin/Kansas in December 2009. She is responsible for general accounting, patient business services, financial and statistical reporting and compliance functions at five hospitals in the Southwest Missouri-Kansas region. Ms. Hunter is a life-long resident of Joplin and active in the community. She serves on the board of the Joplin Family Y and Bright Futures USA; as a member of the Joplin Rotary; and a volunteer ally for the Circles Organization. Ms. Hunter has an MBA from Pittsburgh State University.
