San Diego County public salaries have been under review recently, revealing Oceanside’s Tri-City Medical Center CEO Larry Anderson to make $625,000 a year and La Mesa’s Grossmont Healthcare District CEO Barry Jantz to make around $250,000.
Compensation tends to vary widely according to hospital size, revenue and executive experience, according to the report. Fallbrook (Calif.) Healthcare District administrator Vi Dupre makes a total of around $69,000, compared to the $1.7 million received annually by Chris Van Gorder, CEO of Scripps Health in San Diego.
