Jim Skogsbergh, the CEO of Milwaukee and Downers Grove, Ill.-based Advocate Aurora Health, will take a 50 percent salary cut for at least the next quarter, according to Milwaukee Business News.

Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare's executive team will take a 30 percent pay cut until at least June 30, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. 

California is the top-paying state for registered nurses, according to May 2019 U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data.

The International Brotherhood of Teamsters has sent a letter to other Tenet Healthcare shareholders urging them to reject a $24 million pay package for Tenet Chairman and CEO Ronald Rittenmeyer. 

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center said employees who are temporarily without work will take pay cuts due to the financial effect of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Milwaukee and Downers Grove Ill.-based Advocate Aurora Health is providing $15 million in award payments to more than 60,000 eligible employees in recognition of their work during 2019, according to an internal memo obtained by Becker's Hospital Review.

Total compensation for seven CEOs of the largest commercial for-profit payers in the U.S. was about $151.3 million last year, according to proxy statements filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
