Commissioner Jean Hordyk told the Peninsula Daily News that the raise was “important” and that “in order to keep [Mr. Lewis], he needs a raise.”
Mr. Lewis will become the second-highest-paid hospital CEO in the North Olympic Peninsula after Mike Glenn of Jefferson Healthcare in Port Townsend, Wash. Mr. Glenn’s annual compensation is $233,515.
