Mr. Mann’s compensation increased to more than $850,000. The $80,000 raise included a $30,000 raise to his base salary and an incentive bonus of $50,000, according to the report.
The Kaweah Delta board said it approved Mr. Mann’s raise because he “could go to work in another state or facility and do much better,” according to the report. Mr. Mann declined a raise in 2012 due to budget constraints at the hospital.
