The median compensation for practice management professionals has remained steady from 2009-2010, according to a news release from Medical Group Management Association.
Some professionals reported small increases in compensation, such as business service directors, who reported a 5.7 increase to $88,450. Branch/satellite clinic managers saw a modest increase of 2.57 percent in median compensation to $57,510. Marketing/communication specialists earned a median compensation of $49,262 in 2010 — up .74 percent from 2009.
