HCS’ report pooled PA compensation data from 509 hospitals, and the report covers 179 different hospital positions. Overall, PAs averaged $45.19 per hour. PAs at for-profit hospitals averaged $49.26 per hour, while non-profit hospital PAs made an average of $44.32 per hour.
PAs at Kansas hospitals reported the lowest hourly pay rate at $41.45, and California ranked as the highest at $61.05.
