Highest-paying healthcare jobs in 75 US cities

In a number of U.S. cities, physicians are among the highest-paid jobs across all industries. But regardless of specialty, their pay differs drastically from one city to another, according to a recent series of analyses from Zippia

The job-search site analyzed 2023 compensation data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Foreign Labor Certification Data Center and Office of Personnel Management to determine the highest-paying jobs in cities across the U.S. Zippia's data science team supplements the data by continuousy scanning through millions of job postings to find their published salaries, and comparing these to companies, job titles and locations in other data sets. A weighted average is calculated to determine an estimated salary for more than 1,000 job titles in each city.
