John L. Workman has stepped down from his position as executive vice president and CFO of HealthSouth Corp. and will take the same job title at Omnicare, a nationwide provider of pharmaceutical care for the elderly, according to a release from Omnicare.
Joining HealthSouth in 2004 as part of a new management team hired to turn the company around, Mr. Workman participated in a successful $3.2 billion recapitalization in 2006 and a divestiture plan in 2007.
HealthSouth will present its third-quarter earnings report on Nov. 4.
