HCA, SEIU Agree on Contract for 19 Florida Hospitals

HCA has come to an agreement with the Service Employees International Union over the contracts of healthcare workers, including nurses, technicians and others, at 19 of the hospital chain’s Florida facilities, according to a Miami Herald report.

The contracts removed salary caps, establish labor management committees and provide protections for workers if a facility was sold, according to the report.

HCA and the union have been negotiating a contract for months.
