Google adds salary feature to job search tool

Google updated its job search tool to include a salary feature, according to Nick Zakrasek, a Google product manager.

By Google’s estimate, more than 85 percent of job listings are missing salary information, Mr. Zakrasek wrote. Now, Google is using data from Glassdoor, PayScale and LinkedIn to include estimated salary ranges on job posts.

For jobs that do not list salary, the tool will show a comparison to the job’s estimated range, if available.
