Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in NY Abruptly Replaces CEO

Ramon Rodriguez has been appointed the new chief of Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., after the hospital’s former chief was suddenly dismissed, according to a New York Times report.

Mr. Rodriguez currently serves as a member of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s Brooklyn Work Group, which is charged with finding solutions for financially troubled health systems in Brooklyn, including Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. The work group has recommended Wyckoff Heights Medical Center merge with Brooklyn Hospital Center in Fort Greene and Interfaith Medical Center in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

The name of the former chief of Wyckoff Heights was not reported.
