For the survey, more than 300 health systems and 980 hospitals submitted data for nearly 23,600 executives and managers between February and June 2012.
Tom Pavlik, managing principal at SullivanCotter, said in the news release that moderate salary increases for hospital and health system executives has been a major trend the past several years. He also noted fewer organizations provided no salary increases in 2012.
