Executive Compensation Reaches $850K at Florida’s Lakeland Regional Medical Center

The latest IRS report available on Lakeland (Fla.) Regional Medical Center showed, for the first time, how much of administrator compensation is “base pay” and how much is “bonus and incentive compensation,” according to a Ledger report.

Lakeland Regional Medical Center CEO Jack Stephens was paid $856,514, of which $644,034 was base pay and $212,480 was bonuses.

Vice president and CFO Paul Powers earned a total of $435,581, of which $352,661 was base pay and $82,920 was bonuses.

CIO Mary Ford made $264,283, of which $213,978 was base pay and $50,305 was bonuses.

CMO Edward Sammer, MD, made $404,789, of which $327,607 was base pay and $77,182 was bonuses.
