CEO of University Medical Center in Texas to Make $430k After Raise

Jim Valenti, CEO of University Medical Center in El Paso, Texas, will have a base salary of $430,580 after he received a 1.5 percent merit raise, according to an El Paso Times report.

The hospital board of managers said there were across-the-board merit increases for all associates this year.

Mr. Valenti stands to make $600,000 in total compensation this year, according to the report. Other perquisites include health and life insurance, potential incentive bonuses and automobile and cell phone stipends.
