Benefis Health System CEO John Goodnow is Highest-Paid in Montana

John Goodnow, CEO of Benefis Health System in Great Falls, Mont., made more than $890,000 in total compensation in 2011, leaving him at the top of the pay scale for all Montana hospital and health system CEOs, according to a Great Falls Tribune report.

The next closest in pay was Nicholas Wolter, MD, CEO of Billings (Mont.) Clinic, who made more than $841,000 last year.

Mr. Goodnow’s compensation in 2010 topped $2 million, which included retirement and deferred payments.
