5 highest-paying healthcare jobs with $100K+ salaries

Physicians hold the No. 1 spot on Glassdoor’s list of the 25 highest paying jobs in America, with a median base salary of $195,842.

Glassdoor, a job and recruiting website, looked at 2018 salary reports submitted by employees, median annual base salary, job openings and active job listings as of July 19.

A job title must have at least 100 salary reports from U.S.-based employees within the last year to be considered for the list. The list did not include C-suite level jobs.

Here are the five healthcare jobs that made Glassdoor’s list, ranked according to median base salary:

No. 1 — Physician: $195,842

No. 2 — Pharmacy manager: $146,412

No. 3 — Pharmacist: $127,120

No. 7 — Physician assistant: $108,761

No. 9 — Nurse practitioner: $106,962
