Bartley Griffith, MD, heads the Division of Cardiac Surgery and Cardiothoracic Transplantation in the Department of Surgery at UMMC, and he made $771,611 in 2010, the third-most.
Twenty of the top 25 salaries were greater than or equal to $500,000. Other physicians that made the list include the heads of orthopedics, cardiology, otolaryngology, anesthesiology, neurosurgery and more.
