10 states with the largest decreases to travel nurse pay

The average weekly travel nurse pay in December in the U.S. was $3,177, down 16 percent from $3,782 during the same month in 2021, according to a report from Vivian Health, a national healthcare hiring marketplace.    

As of Jan. 5, there were 645,243 active RN travel jobs on the Vivian Health platform nationwide in the last 90 days.

Here are 10 states with the largest decreases to travel nurse pay in December 2022 (compared to December 2021), according to the report shared with Becker's.

Oklahoma

Weekly pay 2022: $2,645
