1 healthcare job makes $100 per hour in every state

One healthcare job in the U.S. pays employees at least $100 per hour across every single state, according to 2017 data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics cited by Money.

Surgeons are the only professionals in the U.S. to receive a median hourly salary that exceeds $100 per hour in all 50 states, meaning they could make upward of $250,000 per year, according to Money’s analysis of statistics from the labor bureau’s May 2017 Occupational Employment and Wage Estimates.

While surgeons may have the highest hourly wage, data indicated anesthesiology offers a higher national average salary than surgery, with 90 percent of all anesthesiologists in the U.S. making more than $123,580, the report states.
