The rating assignment is based on a number of factors, including DUHS’solid balance sheet, national reputation and stable leadership team.

The outlook is stable. “The stable outlook reflects DUHS’ solid enterprise profile and ample unrestricted reserves, which together are expected to provide stability to the rating during a period of potential increased capital spending, balance sheet pressure and projected decreased earnings,” said S&P analyst Jessica Goldman.
