The boundary agreement includes a map for growth in the three towns and does not include the hospital’s plans. According to the report, SPMH was hoping to annex two 40-acre parcels of land on the boundary of the village and town of Prairie du Sac in order to build a new hospital.
Although the hospital plans to move forward in developing the new facility, officials and board members attended all three board meetings, hoping to add an amendment to the boundary agreement that would allow the hospital to move forward with its plans, according to the report. Members from the town boards said they would work with the hospital going forward; however, no plans for an amendment were decided upon.
